When I say pin collecting I mean I collect small ornaments (often discs) designed to be attached to clothing by means of a pin. They are usually of little value. Most of them have slogans printed on them, hence they are sometimes called badges. A more common term is buttons, but button collecting is a different hobby more like collecting beads than pin collecting. I collect pins.
