What is GSLIS 861?
From the UWO Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) calendar
(1992 - 1994):
- 861 Cognitive Aspects of Information System Design and Use
- Fundamental issues, theories, research methods, and findings of cognitive
psychology, as they apply to computerized information systems. Different
approaches to user interface design and usability issues concerning various
kinds of information systems. Topics from psychology including memory,
problem solving, mental models, decision making, and text processing.
I have a list of resources I think are useful for students in the
course.
