Notes
- there is no supplemental exam for this course
- progress on your project will be monitored by using a
number of "milestone" assignments
- if you cannot get your assignment to work properly by
the due date, then document what you have done,
why you think it is not working, and what you would
have to do to complete it
- my experience has been that if you miss a milestone
it is VERY difficult for you to catch up

There is no text for this course. There will be supplemental readings made
available on the web as needed.
Programming Language
The project can be programmed in the language(s) of your choice. If using C
or C++, I suggest using Tcl/Tk for the GUI interface. If using perl, I
suggest perl/tk or perl/cgi for the interface. Programming texts/manuals have not been ordered for this course. Overall,
I highly recommend that you use the Web browser with JAVA or perl cgi scripts.
