Bachelor of Computer Science Minors

Dalhousie University has approved a set of minors for the Bachelor of Computer Science (with/without Honours, with/without co-op). The basic format is that you require 4 full credits at or above the second year level in the minor area that include at least 2 full credits at or above the third year level. You must also take any first year courses that are needed as pre-requisites. Departments may choose to set requirements that exceed this basic format. Please consult with an academic advisor if you have an interest in taking a minor. (If you're a student taking a Bachelor of Science degree in a subject other than computer science and are interested in taking a CS minor, please see our minor in computer science information.) This page lists the requirements that were approved at the university Senate. Individual departments have the right to modify their own minor requirements. If a department is advertising minor requirements that conflict with the ones below (on their Dalhousie web site or in the undergraduate calendar), then the requirements set by the department override the ones listed below.
