IBM PhD Fellowship

Students must be nominated by a faculty member. All nominations for the IBM PhD Fellowship must be submitted by faculty electronically over the web on a standardized form so as to facilitate an open and uniform competition. The nomination form will be available on the IBM PhD Fellowship nomination Web site from October 27 to December 15, 2003.

Basis of Award:

Tuition + fees, $17 500 USD + Thinkpad

Eligibility:

Grad students at Canadian universities - international students eligible. They must be enrolled full-time in a college or university PhD program, and they should have completed at least one year of study in their doctoral program at the time of their nomination. Students are expected to complete an internship at IBM.
